Co-optition

Co-optition is the strategic trend of corporate globalization in the 21st century.

It is based on competency complementation which is enabled through exchange of resources and aimed at win-win cooperation.

On January 8, 2002, Haier announced the co-optition with Sanyo Japan. Later on February 20, 2002, Haier announced the co-optition with Sampo Taiwan.
