Becomes Pakistan’s Most Valuable Sports Brand
It is a moment worth celebrating! The emergence of Haier sponsored Pakistan Super League cricket team, Peshawar Zalmi as the biggest and most valuable and prominent franchise competing in the third season of the international showcase tournament.
Research released by A.C. Nielson Sports, the most authoritative provider of analytics and insights within the sports industry, showed that PSL3 generated hundreds of millions of US dollars-worth of media value and exposure for the tournament and its franchises and sponsors.
Haier sponsored Peshawar Zalmi was the tournament’s top most performing franchise (team) in PSL3 in terms of media value and exposure estimated at tens of millions of US dollars. Along with Brand Haier, Peshawar Zalmi, a team with worldwide following has become a brand in its own right. A.C. Nielson Sports makes it Pakistan’s most valuable sports brand.
Separately three Peshawar Zalmi players visited the Haier Economic Zone to see for themselves the production of various Haier products. Three players are, Ibtesam Sheikh, Mohammad Asghar and Umaid Asif.
