And the award goes to… Haier’s new 3D Fridge!
The “red dot award: product design” is one of the most renowned design competitions in the world. Every year, products with an extraordinary design are recognised by a panel of experts. At this year’s edition, Haier’s new 3D Fridge stood out from the other 4,662 products in the running, winning this much-coveted award. The panel was won over by the new 3D Fridge’s minimalist and harmonious design.
The 3D combi, the perfect match between design and innovation
Conceived with ergonomics in mind, the 3D Fridge is set up with sliding freezer drawers for easier access. Compact and offering a pleasant user experience, it is full of tricks making it extremely practical: foldable wine rack, LED lighting tower, touch control LCD display…
The refrigerator can be used in different ways thanks to the MyZone modular middle compartment, allowing for an increase in capacity in either the fridge zone or the freezer by 37 litres. This simple but effective innovation means the temperatures can be adjusted within a range of +5°C to -18°C, therefore adapting it to the consumers’ needs.
Available in stainless steel, this combi boasts a contemporary style and an elegant design, thus winning over a demanding panel.
The world’s number one Major Appliances brand* owes its success to constant investment in research and development and its capacity to offer products that meet consumers’ expectations and needs.
“It’s an honour to accept such an award that is truly a recognition of our teams’ expertise. The excellence behind Haier’s design is once again rewarded, demonstrating year after year, our determination to offer more and more powerful products with a unique style,” said René Aubertin, CEO of Haier.
