Haier Boosts Happiness With -My Pearl, My Pride Social Media Campaign

New Delhi, March 12, 2015 Haier, one of the largest Home Appliances & Consumer Electronics brands worldwide, completed 30 years of innovation in the year 2014. Marking this occasion, the company launched “My Pearl, My Pride” social media campaign encouraging people to talk about the ‘pearls’ in their lives, who have inspired a change in the lives of people around them. Culminating the contest, Haier India has launched an e-book on the occasion of World Women’s Day in March with the best entries received from the audience. The contest was designed to provide an opportunity to consumers to come online and express their love for the pearl of their life by submitting photos and stories about them.
 
The online contest was hosted on Haier’s official Facebook page through the month of February which is. A dedicated page on Haier’s Facebook page enabled the brand to maximize their outreach and make the contest accessible for anyone to participate, from any location. People used this platform enthusiastically and share stories about the ‘pearls’ in their lives. As part of the campaign, Haier India’s Facebook Page registered participation from people across the country with their entries. The contest required the participants to submit the reason why they consider someone the pearl of their life. 
 
On 9th March, Haier concluded the contest by announcing 30 ‘pearls’ as the winners of the contest from all across the nation and earned exclusive gift hampers from Haier, as a memento to felicitate the spirit of happiness and celebration.

2014 has marked the 30th anniversary of Haier, from its founding in 1984. The year has been a year of immense success.
