Haier, the world’s number one Major Appliances Brand for six consecutive years*, today announced a 10.5% year-on-year increase in global turnover to reach 32.6 billion USD in 2014. Once again, Haier has performed exceptionally well across its entire product portfolio, which includes consumer electronics, home appliances, mobile communications and energy solutions.

Constant growth and a successful business model: the results speak for themselves

Commenting on the results, Yannick Fierling, CEO of Haier Europe, said: 2014 was another remarkable year for Haier, with double-digit growth for the sixth consecutive year. The group delivered on its growth strategy in all core markets, despite economic challenges in some countries. Our focus on continuous improvement has allowed us to enhance our product offering and increase sales across all product categories and market segments.”

Haier innovation: endless entrepreneurial ecosystem

The cornerstone of this success lies in Haier’s flexible strategy and ability to quickly adapt to evolving business needs and customer requirements. The combination of Haier’s consumer-led innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem has enabled the company to integrate the everyday needs of its customers into product design, providing value-added solutions to suit their specific requirements.

Meanwhile, Haier’s unique management structure fosters ‘an entrepreneurial ecosystem’, encouraging employees to adopt a customer-centric mindset, culture and innovation process. The Haier group encourages its employees to take initiative by organising themselves into self-managed teams in order to foster creativity and innovation. This unique approach to management is replicated across Haier’s international network, with local markets given the autonomy to adapt to local needs while achieving global efficiency.
