Haier gains number one position for eight consecutive year

Once again, Haier confirms its leading brand position in the large household appliances market with a 10.3% retail volume market share in 2016 (vs 9.8% in 2015) according to Euromonitor International. In addition, for the first time, Haier takes a leading brand position in the global ranking of connected air conditioners.

 

Commenting on this newly published ranking by Euromonitor, Yannick Fierling, CEO, Haier Europe said:

-       Haier is the N°1 Brand of Major Appliances in the world* (10,3% market share of sales per unit volume in 2016)**.

 

-       Haier is the N°1 Brand of connected air-conditioners (with 23,6% market share of sales per unit volume in 2016)**.

 

-       Haier is the N°1 Global Brand Leader in Refrigeration appliances (with 16,8% market share of sales per unit volume in 2016)**.
