Rated 1 out of 5 by Extremely noisy; Shelves not designed well. Consumer Reports recommended this fridge, and actually gave it a good rating for noise. This thing is very loud. Have had two service people out, who said it is just designed this way. The bottom shelf is so narrow it is useless. And the other shelves bump into each other. It is difficult to change the temperatures. Hope to return it!!! June 5, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Best value two zone wine refer in this size category Look and feel of quality. Solid door and easy slide shelves. One downside is the size and space between shelves for white wine. Chardonnay bottles are larger in diameter; creating some interference when opening and closing full white wine drawers. Rated 4 out of 5 by New wine center Our Haier is the center of our new wine cabinet. It works very well and is very attractive December 18, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Features and Quality I have had my Haier for about 3 months now and it's performing nicely. The only complaint I have is that it is a little noisy. I hear it go on and off during the night . November 15, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Disappointed We bought this wine cellar based on a Consumer Reports Best Buy rating. We also bought a matching beverage regrigerator, and we wanted to reverse the door hinge on the wine cellar so the two opened from opposite sides. We found that some of the screw holes required for the reversal had not been drilled by Haier. Customer Service was no help. When we got tired of waiting for them, we drilled the holes ourselves. Then when we plugged in the unit, we found it is very loud. October 31, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Good looking unit, quit after 1 year. We loved having this wine cooler for about 11 months. It worked and looks great! You can hear it run, but it isn't loud, barley noticeable. Right at the 12 month point, the lower zone quit cooling (set to 43, temperature 65) and the upper zone would only partially cool. The unit never shuts off and runs all the time trying to cool to the set point. The unit is under warranty and the serviceman has been out, but my confidence is low that it will get fixed. We may be in the market for another unit soon! October 21, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Piece of Junk I ordered two of these wine refrigerators. Upon arrival, one did not work at all. I contacted Haier regarding a warranty claim and they sent a repairman. A new control panel was ordered. After waiting three weeks for the part, the repairman could not get the old panel removed and he could not get any support from Haier. He said that they were junk and I agree. Hopefully, Lowe's will replace it. The one refrigerator that does work is terrible. With dual zoned refrigerators, most people keep white wines in the smaller zone and reds in the larger zone. This is reversed, with the smaller zone only able to go down to 50 degrees. Also, this refrigerator will absolutely not accommodate any irregular sized 750 ml. bottle so at least half of mine do not fit. The racks only come half way out, so wines in the back are difficult to remove. March 26, 2013
