Modular TV: The first TV that evolves with technological innovations

Following careful assessment of customer needs and online feedback from internet users, Haier introduces a groundbreaking new modular TV, an innovative concept device that allows users to select features by themselves and easily update the software, for a truly personalised TV experience.

How does it work? Just change the module on the back of the screen for a choice of Full HD (1920 x 1080) or UHD (3840 x 2160). Connected TV features can also be regularly updated in line with technological developments.

This connected TV also incorporates a range of health monitoring and care features.  The user can measure their blood pressure weight, sleep cycle quality from the comfort of their own home, and monitor their precise movements from day to day.

To further enhance the personalised TV experience, an integrated camera advises on the optimal viewing position. An alarm is used to warn the viewer if they are too close, have a poor posture, or watch TV for too long. The modular TV will also be able to automatically adjust brightness levels according to ambient lighting, in order to reduce eye strain.

Short-throw projector: home cinema made easy

For those who dream of a big screen or cinema experience at home, a projector is a must-have piece of equipment. But the complex installation involved often proves to be a headache for consumers. Haier has an ideal solution with its first short throw LED projector, which sits almost against the wall.

Placed just 2 inches from the wall, Haier’s short-throw projector can project a 60-inch image. At 1 metre from the wall, the maximum 150-inch diagonal can be achieved. The Haier short-throw projector is ideal for heavy or frequent use. Equipped with a light-emitting diode (LED), its lifespan is 10 times longer than a standard bulb or lamp-based projector.

Main features of Haier’s short-throw LED projector:

Image size: 60’’ to 150’’ for a total wall distance of between 0.39m and 1.01m ; Full HD image 1080p resolution, DLP video technology, 10.7 billion colours, contrast ratio of 2000 cd/m2, brightness 5 000:1, active 3D technology; Android 4.2 operating system with 16 GB of flash memory and 1GB of RAM, Realtek 3066 dual-core processor clocked at 1.6 GHz, quad-core Mali graphics processor clocked at 400MHz, SD card slot for adding external memory (up 32 GB); built in WiFi and RJ45; Smart remote control on tablet and smartphone (via Apps), content sharing on Android; integrated speakers 2x8W, Bluetooth 4.0
