The Haier UK & Ireland subsidiary operates at the company’s offices in Ealing, London. Objectives in the UK & Ireland market are to increase brand awareness and market share, with the overall aim of becoming one of the top five manufacturers of household electrical goods in Europe.

Rotger’s appointment follows a successful 19-year spell at Whirlpool, during which he most recently acted as Business Unit Director for Whirlpool France. Having joined the company in 1996, Rotger rose through the ranks to hold senior positions in its EMEA structure.
