Haier expands UK laundry line with large-capacity product launches

Haier, the world’s number one Major Appliances brand for six consecutive years*, announces the launch of its newest laundry products to the UK market. The HW100-1479N washing machine and HD80-A82 tumble dryer both feature large capacities, again demonstrating Haier’s knowledge of consumer needs and the demand for large-capacity laundry products. These new products use Haier’s trademark antibacterial treatment (ABT®) and, as ever with Haier appliances, boast excellent energy efficiency.


HW100-1479N: An extra-large 10kg capacity at excellent value for money


With the launch of the HW100-1479N, Haier introduces its largest-capacity washing machine to date in the UK. The whopping 10kg capacity is ideal for the laundry needs of large families.


Furthermore, it has an energy efficiency rating of A+++, meaning its performance reaches the best current energy saving standards in Europe.


The exclusive ABT® is used in the door and gasket of the washing machine, eliminating more than 99.8% of bacteria, as proved by scientific testing**.


The HW100-1479N has a choice of 10 wash programmes and an End Delay function of up to 24 hours for extra convenience.

HD80-A82: The latest evolution of the 82 Series

The HD80-A82 tumble dryer has a large 8kg capacity, encouraging UK customers to think big for their laundry.


This tumble dryer uses heat pump technology for reduced energy consumption, with an A++ rating putting it among the most energy-efficient products of its kind.


It also features a selection of 11 programmes, including a dedicated wool programme which guarantees special care for delicate woolen garments.


ABT® is used in the water collection tray, filter and gasket.
