Warranty Declaration

1.    This warranty shall be valid for Haier products distributed by Haier Electronics South Africa (Pty) Ltd. 

2.    This warranty becomes effective on the date of purchase.

3.    This warranty card is irreplaceable in any event of loss and is non-transferrable. 

4.    This warranty card and purchase receipt shall be presented before any work can be carried out on the Haier product under the warranty. 

5.    The repair or replacement of the Haier product under warranty will not extend the period of the warranty.

6.    Under the following circumstances, this warranty doesn't cover the repair or replacement of the Haier product: 

a.    Normal wear and tear including accessories that might wear out over time including but not limited to, remote control, battery, shelf tray, guard bottle, handle, filter, duct, hose, shower head, end cap, pan support, inner pot, cosmetic plastic parts, knob, cabinet;

b.    Accidental damage or Act of Gods;

c.    Damage from external sources including but not limited to, transit, weather, electrical outages, power surges, inadequate plumbing, water supply or water pressure; 

d.    Failure caused by circumstances outside of Haier's control;  

e.    Failure caused by: 

      Negligent use, misuse, neglect or careless operation of the Haier product;

      Use of the Haier product which is not in accordance with the Haier product operating manual; 

      Use of parts and accessories which are not original from Haier;

      Faulty assembly or installation (except where carried out by Haier); 

      Use of Haier product for anything other than domestic household purpose;

     Repair or alterations carried out by parties other than Haier or its authorized services center.
