Unlock Match Day is Haier South Africa’s website and social-media competition for Black Summer 2026. Search selected eligible product pages for an approved hidden club icon, then share your find publicly on Instagram, Facebook or TikTok with the correct tag and hashtag.
A product-page visit is just the start. To qualify, complete every entry step below during the relevant monthly entry window.
How to enter Unlock Match Day
Explore eligible Haier product pages
Browse the Haier South Africa website and open the selected product pages taking part in the icon hunt. Eligible pages and icon positions may change during the competition.
Find the hidden club icon
Look for the approved hidden football club icon on an eligible product page. Take your time exploring; the exact hiding places are part of the hunt.
Take a clear screenshot
Capture the icon with enough surrounding page content for Haier to verify where you found it. Keep the screenshot genuine and clear.
Post your find publicly
Share the screenshot on Instagram, Facebook or TikTok during the current monthly entry period. Keep the post and account publicly verifiable.
Tag, follow and add the hashtag
Tag and follow the official Haier account for the platform you use, and include #UnlockMatchDay. Check the correct accounts below before posting.

What can you win?

Digital cash cards or vouchers, every month
Each monthly prize period has two R2,000 prizes, with one prize for each verified winner. Across November and December, there are four prizes with a total face value of R8,000.
Prizes are issued through a Haier-appointed provider. Use, expiry, restrictions and any fees are governed by the issuer’s supplied terms. Haier does not exchange the prize for cash.

Opens: 1 December 2026 at 00h01 SAST.
Closes: 31 December 2026 at 23h59 SAST.

Draw: within five business days after 31 December.
There is no limit to valid entries within a monthly period. Each qualifying post and/or valid icon find submitted in accordance with the rules counts separately. Entries reset when the new monthly period begins. A participant may win only once in this competition unless Haier expressly states otherwise in writing.

Finding an icon does not submit an entry automatically. Take your screenshot and complete all the social entry steps during the applicable monthly period.
Who can enter?
Unlock Match Day is open to eligible natural persons aged 18 or older who are South African citizens or permanent residents and can provide accepted proof of identity.
Haier-connected employees, contractors, agencies, participating retailers and other excluded persons, together with their immediate family, partners and household members, may not enter. The complete exclusions are set out in the campaign terms.
No purchase is necessary. Buying a Haier product does not improve your chance of winning.
What happens after you enter?
Keep your post public and watch your messages
Two potential winners are selected by random draw from the valid entries in each monthly period. Keep your entry post and account publicly verifiable until seven calendar days after the monthly winner-selection process. If you are a potential winner, keep the entry accessible until verification is complete.
Haier first contacts potential winners by direct message from an official Haier South Africa account on the platform used to enter. You must respond within 72 hours and provide the information reasonably needed for verification.
After successful verification, confirm acceptance and provide the reasonable fulfilment information requested within five business days. The prize is sent to the verified winner by email and/or SMS within ten business days after verification and acceptance, subject to provider processing times.

What is Unlock Match Day?
It is a Haier South Africa competition running from 2 November to 31 December 2026. Find an approved hidden football club icon on an eligible product page, screenshot it and complete the required public social entry steps for a chance to win.
Do I have to buy a product to enter?
No. No purchase is necessary, and buying a Haier product does not improve your chance of winning. You must meet the eligibility requirements and complete every entry step.
Which social platforms can I use?
You can enter through Instagram, Facebook or TikTok. Post your screenshot publicly, tag and follow the applicable official Haier account, and include #UnlockMatchDay.
How many times can I enter?
There is no limit to valid entries in each monthly prize period. Each qualifying post and/or valid icon find counts separately under the rules. Entries reset for the next month; a participant may win only once in the competition unless Haier expressly states otherwise in writing.
What are the prizes?
Two verified winners each receive a R2,000 digital cash card or voucher in November, and two verified winners each receive a R2,000 prize in December. There are four prizes in total, with an aggregate face value of R8,000.
Can I enter from a private account?
Your entry post and account must be publicly verifiable. Keep them accessible until seven calendar days after the relevant monthly winner-selection process, and until verification is complete if you are a potential winner.
How will Haier contact me if I am selected?
The first contact is a direct message from an official Haier South Africa account on your entry platform. Respond within 72 hours. Haier may then use the contact details you supply for verification and prize delivery.
Is this the same as the Multi-Wash 15-Minute Challenge?
No. Unlock Match Day uses a hidden-icon screenshot mechanic and allows Instagram, Facebook or TikTok entries. Unlock Your 15 Minutes is a separate video competition with its own dates, prizes and entry limit. Entering one does not automatically enter you into the other.
