Question: How to handle the abnormal closing of the refrigeration air door?

Answer:

Phenomenon:

The temperature in the refrigerator periodically rises to 10-12°C.

A month ago, ASA replaced the damper (possibly jamming) and the fan (which was running slightly louder than usual), which seemed to solve the problem, but the problem returned a month later.

Solution:

This situation is due to the abnormal closing of the refrigeration air door.

There are approximately the following several cases:

1.      The temperature sensing of the refrigeration sensor is abnormal. The actual temperature has not reached the condition for the air door to close, but the air door has closed. In this case, the compartment sensor on the refrigeration air duct needs to be replaced.

2.      The freezer fan or the refrigeration air door is faulty. Replace the component.

3.      The main control board is faulty, resulting in abnormal control of the refrigeration air door.

In conclusion, it is suggested to try a different main control board. At the same time, the sensor head of the refrigeration compartment can be replaced.
