Baghdad, Iraq – August 9, 2026 – Haier Iraq successfully held its First Direct Sales Customer Communication Meeting in Baghdad, bringing together the Haier Middle East & Africa team, Haier Iraq team, and key local partners. The meeting focused on market strategy, business models, product portfolio development, and future cooperation, with all parties exploring new opportunities for growth in the Iraqi market.
With a strong focus on customers and Haier’s long-term development in Iraq, Yang Liqiang, General Manager of Haier Iraq, shared Haier’s global strategy and its strategic direction for the Iraqi market. He outlined Haier’s localization strategy and business model for growing together with local partners. As Haier continues to deepen its presence in Iraq, the company will further integrate its global brand strength, competitive product portfolio, and localized operations to enhance market competitiveness together with its partners.
During the product and business session, Haier presented its key product categories, including residential and commercial air conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines, and televisions. Based on the needs of the Iraqi market, the Haier team also exchanged views with partners on product portfolios, market solutions, and business opportunities. Through more competitive products and localized business solutions, Haier aims to further empower its partners and support sustainable growth at the retail level.
A Partner Authorization Ceremony was also held during the meeting, where Haier officially presented authorization plaques to key partners. The ceremony not only recognized the achievements of the existing partnerships but also marked the beginning of a new stage of cooperation between Haier and its local partners.
Following the ceremony, Li Dapeng, General Manager of Haier Middle East & Africa, shared the Iraq Retailer Transformation Strategy, providing strategic guidance on the future transformation of Iraq’s retail market, retail capability development, market coverage, and operational efficiency. The meeting also featured breakout business discussions, during which Haier’s product and sales teams engaged with partners on specific product requirements, order planning, commercial policies, and cooperation details, helping turn strategic direction into concrete business actions.
