Question:
Why can’t users fully drain the tank when draining water by themselves?
Answer:
Due to the design limitations of the water heater’s internal pipes and cavity structure, routine simple draining can only remove most of the water in the tank, and complete draining is not possible.
Methods for complete water draining:
Horizontal water heater: Remove the insulated inlet and outlet pipe fittings to drain water.
Vertical water heater: Remove the heating element assembly to achieve complete draining.
