HAIER MALAYSIA KICKSTARTS #DOGOODWITHHAIER CAMPAIGN TO HELP FAMILIES IN NEED.

Amidst the current Covid-19 and Movement Control Order (MCO) crisis, underprivileged families are finding it increasingly difficult to ensure they have proper access to necessary food supplies. Haier Malaysia is here to change that.

To raise awareness on the lack of food accessibility for the underprivileged families, Haier Malaysia has kick-started the #DoGoodWithHaier initiative to give back to the community and help aid these families in need through a partnership with Kechara Food Bank.

With just RM300, a box of food that includes 10kg rice, cooking oil, milk powder, and other essential food items can ensure food on the table for an underprivileged family for one whole month. Through this initiative, Haier Malaysia is targeting to raise RM10,000 to feed 33 families.

Haier Malaysia will begin by donating a minimum of RM5,000 to help feed 16 needy families. But it does not end there. With the help from generous Malaysians, Haier is determined to raise another RM5,000 to achieve the full RM10,000 donation with just a few clicks from home. Starting from 20th March till 20th April 2020, an additional RM1 will be donated for every LIKE on Haier Malaysia Facebook page.
