Certificate of Warranty - Haier Products 

This page serves as your personal guarantee provided by Haier Electrical Appliances (M) Sdn. Bhd. and the authorized distributor and dealer of Haier products, as indicated by the signature provided. 

It exclusively pertains to you in your capacity as the initial buyer and is not eligible for transfer. The provisions of this warranty are applicable based on the stipulations outlined in the Service Policy and Warranty. This warranty is specifically applicable to the designated Haier appliances listed below, solely in instances where said appliances are installed for residential purposes rather than for commercial utilization.

REFRIGERATOR

1. General Warranty: 2 years warranty and Free onsite technical service fee

2. Compressor Warranty: 

         - Inverter Series valid for 1 compressor replacement within 20 years* (*Applicable for selected Haier refrigerators purchased from 1st Jan 2023)

         - Non-inverter Series valid for 1 compressor replacement within 20 years* (exclude Single Door Series)  (*Applicable for selected Haier refrigerators purchased from 1st Jan 2023)

         - Single Door Series valid for 1 compressor replacement within 5 years

     iii  Transportation, labor charge and material cost will be charged if the general warranty period has expired.

FREEZER

1. General Warranty: 2 years parts warranty and free onsite technical service fee

2. Compressor Warranty: Valid for 1 compressor replacement within 5 years 

3. Transportation, labor charge and material cost will be charged if the general warranty period has expired

WASHING MACHINE AND DRYER 

1. Fully Auto Non: 2 years general warranty and free onsite technical service fee  

   Inverter Series: 3 years PC Board warranty, 10 years** Motor warranty 

2. Fully Auto: 2 years general warranty and free onsite technical service fee

   Inverter Series: 3 years PC Board warranty, 20 years*** Motor warranty

3. Semi Auto: 2 years general warranty and free onsite technical service fee; 5 years Motor warranty

4. Front Load: 2 years general warranty and free onsite technical service fee; 3 years PC Board warranty, 20 years**** Motor warranty

5. Vented Dryer: 2 years general warranty and free onsite technical service fee; 5 years Motor warranty

6. Heat Pump Dryer: 2 years general warranty and free onsite technical service fee; 3 years PC Board warranty, 12 years Motor warranty

**Applicable for Haier Top Load Washing Machine (10kg and above model) purchased from 1st Jan 2023.

***Applicable for selected Haier Washin Machine purchased from 1st Jan 2023. Extended warranty up to 10 years for selected Top Load Non Inverter models.

****Applicable for selected Haier Washing Machine purchased from 1st Jan 2023. 

^No warranty on dryer's accessories, i.e. filter, duct and etc.  

ROOM AIR CONDITIONER (1.0HP – 2.5HP)

1. Type: Wall Mount

2. 3 years: Year 2017 series onwards parts warranty and free onsite technical service fee

3. Valid 1 replacement for compressor within 5 years (non- inverter) & 10 years (inverter)on manufacturing defects. Transportation, service & gas refilling will be charged after 3 years warranty period expired. (For year 2017 series onwards)

4. No warranty on accessories, i.e. remote control, holder, battery and etc.

LIGHT COMMERCIAL AIR CONDITIONER

1. Type: Ceiling Cassette, Ceiling Convertible, Ducted, Floor Standing and Multi Split                 

2. 2 Years general parts warranty and free on-site technical service fee   

3. Valid 1 replacement for compressor within 5 year on manufacturing defects. Transportation, service & gas refilling will be charged after 1 year warranty period expired.    

4. No warranty on accessories, i.e. remote control, holder, battery & etc.

TELEVISION

1. 2 or 3 years general warranty, depsnging on the product models purchased

KITCHEN APPLIANCES

1. Ventilation Hoods: 3 years: general warranty and free onsite technical service fee; 8 years Motor warranty (Selected Models 

2. Ventilation Hoods: 3 years general warranty and free onsite technical service fee; 5 years Motor warranty (Selected Models)

3. Gas Hobs & Electric Hobs: 2 years general warranty and free onsite technical service fee; 5 years Tempered Glass

4. Oven: 2 years general warranty and free onsite technical service fee; 5 years Heating Element

WATER HEATER

1. 2 years general warranty & free onsite technical service fee; 5 years DC Pump warranty; 6 years Heating Element warranty

Terms & Conditions:

1.  This warranty shall be valid for Haier products distributed by Haier Electrical Appliances (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia only.

2.  This warranty becomes effective on the date of purchase.

3.  This warranty card is irreplaceable in any event of loss and is non-transferrable.

4.  This warranty card and purchase receipt shall be presented before any work can be carried out on the  Haier product under the warranty.

5.  The repair or replacement of the Haier product under warranty will not extend the period of the warranty.

6.  Any defective small appliances product as described in this warranty card shall be brought to Haier's authorised services center by customer.

7.  Under the following circumstances, this warranty doesn't cover the repair or replacement of the Haier product:

1.  Normal wear and tear including accessories that might wear out over time including but not limited to, remote control, battery, shelf tray, guard bottle, handle, filter, duct, hose, shower head, end cap, pan support, inner pot, cosmetic plastic parts, knob, cabinet;

2.  Accidental damage or Act of Gods;

3. Damage from external sources including but not limited to, transit, weather, electrical outages, power surges, inadequate plumbing, water supply or water pressure;

4. Failure caused by circumstances outside of Haier's control; or

5. Failure caused by:

• Negligent use, misuse, neglect or careless operation of the Haier product;

• Use of the Haier product which is not in accordance with the Haier product operating manual;

• Use of parts and accessories which are not original from Haier;

•  Faulty assembly or installation (except where carried out by Haier); 

•  Use of Haier product for anything other than domestic household purpose; or

•  Repair or alterations carried out by parties other than Haier or its authorized services center.

1. In the event of any discrepancy between the English version of this warranty card and any other language translation, the English version shall prevails
