The latest Kantar BrandZ report highlights significant trends such as the deeper integration of technology with branding, accelerated globalization of brands, and a growing emphasis on sustainability. The total value of the top 100 global brands surged by 20% year-on-year, reaching $8.3 trillion, nearly matching the peak value recorded in 2022. Since the list's inception in 2006, the cumulative brand value of these global leaders has skyrocketed by 474%, with entry thresholds escalating from $4 billion to $19 billion—a 354% increase.
Haier's journey on the Kantar BrandZ rankings began in 2019 at 89th place. Since then, the brand has climbed steadily, reaching 58th place this year. This ascent reflects Haier's substantial growth in brand value, driven by its pioneering IoT ecosystems. In the fiscal year 2023, Haier reported impressive financial results, with global revenues hitting RMB 371.8 billion ($52.3 billion) and profits totaling RMB 26.7 billion ($3.76 billion).
