Question: Is it normal for the safety valve and its lower pipeline to get hot?

Answer:

This is a normal pressure regulation phenomenon. When the pressure difference between the inner tank and tap water exceeds 0.1MPa (allowable deviation: ±0.04MPa), the safety valve will release pressure via slight backflow. Heat transfer from hot water heats up the valve body and pipelines, which does not affect safe use.
