Question: How to clean our refrigerator

When we use the refrigerator, we should clean it every few months, special in summer, we should clean it every month.

There are some benefits:

3.Prolong the life of the refrigerator

Note:Unplug the refrigerator from the power supply before cleaning.

Step 1.

Take out of the food stored in the refrigerator and put it in a cool place. Open the freezer compartment door to allow

the freezer to defrost. If the ice is thick, you can put a tray full of hot  water in the freezer compartment.

Step 2. clean the fridge compartment

Prepare a cleaning solution mixed with warm water. Use a sponge or soft cloth, dampened

with the cleaning solution, to wipe down the refrigerator compartment, include shelves, liner,

vegetable box, bottle rack and door pockets.

Note:1) If there is the ice on the back of liner, please wipe clean.

         2) If there has bad smell in refrigerator compartment, please spray 1 or 2 times with

white vinegar or dilute lemon juice or a non toxic cleaner.

         3) Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasives, ammonia, chlorine bleach, concentrated

detergents, solvents or metal scouring pads. Some of these chemicals may dissolve,

damage and /or discolor the refrigerator.

         4) Check the drain hole, and make sure it is not blocked. If blocked clean it by using

cleaning stick or a plastic drinking straw.

If you can't find the hole when you pull out the shelves and drawers, it means that the hole is behind the air duct, you don't need clean it.

Open the door and rinse with clean warm water and dry with a soft cloth. If the refrigerator has been sprayed

with deodorant, please close the refrigerator door about fifteen minutes before the next step.

Leave the refrigerator 5 minutes without closing the refrigerator door.

Replace the food which stored in refrigerator compartment. If these has bad smell still, please open the door

and wait about half a hour, and it will be OK.

Step 3.

Note :  1) Clean door gaskets every three months .Gaskets

should be kept clean and flexible to ensure a proper seal.

 2) A small amount of petroleum jelly applied lightly on the hinge side of gaskets will help

keep the gasket flexible and ensure a good seal.

Step 4.

Clear the compressor compartment to remove any build up of dust and fluff and

clean the evaporating dish above the compressor.

•Ensure the power has been removed before cleaning.
•Sharp metal - danger of cuts to fingers and hands.
•when you release the water, be careful  not put the water on the electrical parts beside the compressor.
•If there no bad smell or water leakage at the back of the refrigerator, you can clean the compressor compartment one time one or two years.

Power off, open the cover of the bottom of the refrigerator, if you find that  it is for the water from the container, you can release the water

If  the container is on the compressor,  you can pull and remove it then release the water.

On the top of the compressor, there are some damping cements, if you remove the container, they will be broken, we advise you don’t need to remove it ,you can use the towel to release the water.

If the container is beside the compressor, it is fixed on the compressor bracket, you could not remove it, you should use the towel to release the water
