Haier Showcases New ‘i-age’ products in National Capital Delhi

New Delhi, 3rd June, 2014: Haier India, the world No.1 in Major Home Appliances, for the 5th Consecutive Year*, held an event in Delhi today showcasing over 100+ products across all product categories including the newly launched range of ‘i-age’ products. The new ‘i-age’ product line is designed keeping in mind the needs of today’s tech-savvy Indians who believe in pace, imagination, intelligence and path-breaking innovations.

 

The event aimed at showcasing Haier’s technological advancements with the launch of i-age range. The varied range of products displayed at the event showcased Haier’s innovation in the home appliance and Electronics category.

 

Commenting on the new i-age range of products, Mr. Eric Braganza, President, Haier India said, “Over the past few years, with massive change in the customers’ outlook towards brands, we feel the need to be more distinguished in the product parity market. The i-age products are designed to suit the needs of these tech-savvy consumers and we believe that this will definitely help us carve a niche for ourselves in the Indian consumer durables market. We have done exceedingly well in the year so far, especially in the refrigerator and panels’ section. The first quarter yielded a growth of 37%. We expect to close this quarter at over 30% growth on an year-on-year basis.”

 

From the range of ‘i-age’ products, the star products with path-breaking technology and innovation that were showcased include-

 

  • iFresh: the 728 litre capacity refrigerator pitted as the planet’s best Refrigerator, named Pristine.
  • iCool: the smart Air-Conditioner that can be controlled through an app on android smartphones.
  • iSmart: the 84 inch internet-enabled android based LED Television.
  • iShine: the front loading Washing Machine named Crystal’.

 

To enhance its service product differentiation and give consumers an extraordinary after sales service, Haier has recently launched a slew of service offerings for its customers under the name – ‘i-Solutions’. ‘i-Solutions’ will offer Haier’s customers a 360 degree solutions for all their grievances. This new service solution will reach out to Haier’s customers across India through various social and direct access platforms.

 

‘i-Solutions’ is inspired by the  internet generation who believe in pace, imagination, intelligence and path-breaking innovations. Keeping in line with Haier’s philosophy of innovation and customer satisfaction, ‘i-Solutions’ intends to connect to customers with a range of social media like Facebook, Twitter, We chat or a live chat with Dr. Fido on the Haier website. ‘i-Solutions’ will provide customers an easy access and faster resolution to all their grievances. 

 

In addition to these, Haier has also adopted the world’s most efficient service process systems – Service Process Innovation (SPI). This model seamlessly integrates all the service process functions for an enhanced consumer delight through simplifying the processes at different stages of the service process.

In addition to these service offerings, Haier has also recently launched its first Direct Service Centre in New Delhi which will be extending its services to consumers through trained and certified engineers addressing service issues without a minimal time-lag.
