Haier Organizes Flood Relief Free Service Camps for its Customers in Chennai

New Delhi, December 20, 2015 Haier, the global leader in Home Appliances & Consumer Electronics and  World’s Number 1 home laundry appliance brand as per Euromonitor International Survey 2014, has come on board to support victims of Chennai Floods by conducting a flood relief free service camp in the city and suburban areas for its customers. The service camp was organised from 11^th to 13^th December in Chennai, Vandalur and Thiruvallur from 10 am to 6 pm.

This comes in as a conscious effort to extend support to the victims and those affected by the mayhem caused during the floods in the city recently. The Service camps have been set-up by the company to help in the restoration of Haier products like refrigerators, LEDS and washing machines, which got damaged during the tragic disaster. As part of the initiative, there are no labour charges being levied on the logistics and replacement of spare parts is provided at 30% discounted rate, in order to help the customers in rebuilding their homes and belongings.

Commenting on the situation, Mr. Eric Braganza, President, Haier India said, “This is a moment of great distress and we are deeply saddened by the trauma that the Chennai Flood victims have gone through. The free service camps hosted by Haier in Chennai and the suburban areas is a cumulative effort on behalf of Haier family to extend our help in overcoming the challenges faced by our customers during this hard-hitting phase. We hope that Chennai regains its strength to resume back to life and things are restored to normal.”

Hundreds of queries have been received and encouraging footfall was witnessed during the recently conducted free service camp.
