The G-League represents a first-of-its-kind brand engagement initiative by a consumer durables brand in India. Haier India’s inaugural e-sports IP, the “Haier G-League” Tournament, is set to ignite the competitive gaming scene with over 8,000 players forming 2,048 teams ready to battle it out in the popular game Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI). The registrations opened on 24th June 2025 on Haier India’s official website, kicking off a high-stakes journey that begins with preliminary rounds from 4th July 2025. The main event, commencing on 10th July 2025 at 5pm, will feature top teams battling in an intense knockout format, leading to the thrilling moment when the ultimate champion will be crowned on 20th July 2025. Fans and gaming enthusiasts can experience every moment live on Haier India’s official YouTube channel, where the entire 11-day tournament will unfold, uniting the Haier community and India’s vibrant e-sports ecosystem in an immersive celebration of skill, strategy, and passion.
