Question: The influence of hard water to the water heater.

Answer:

     Hard water results in formation of scale deposits when heated. These deposits will form on hard surface primarily the heating element accumulating overtime. The result will be reduction of heat transfer through the layers of scale; water will take more time to heat and the element can also fail earlier than it rated life.
