Question: Is it normal to have residual water inside a newly unpacked water heater?

Answer:

All electric water heaters undergo professional quality inspections including water injection pressure resistance test and tightness leakage test before leaving the factory, and can only be delivered after passing the tests. A small amount of residual water inside new units is a normal leftover from factory tests. It will not affect product quality, performance or usage safety, so you can install and use it with confidence.
