Haier Philippines smashes with the badminton enthusiasts held on July 29, 2023, at Southsprings Binan, Laguna. The exciting theme of "Smash to Level Up" aligns with the Haier SEA Badminton campaign entitled "Inspire Future Dreams." The campaign winners will be the official delegates of Haier Philippines to join the event and have the chance to personally meet Sapsiree Taerattanachai, one of Thailand's best badminton players. 



With heavy rains and flooding in some areas, the typhoon doesn't stop the players from continuing the tournament. The official game started at 1:00 PM, but the players arrived as early as 11 AM showing their perseverance to win the match. The attendees came from different parts of Luzon, including Metro Manila, Laguna, Cavite, and nearby provinces. It is participated by both males and females coming from different walks of life. There are a total of 54 players who play via doubles round. The pairing has no gender or age restriction. The players were grouped into four and had a round-robin elimination. All players received a special gift from Haier and posted their participation thru their social media accounts with the official hashtag #HaierSmashToLevelUp. 


The venue is decorated with Haier branding materials, including arches, buntings, roll-up banners, and side court materials. 



After the exciting elimination, the final two pairs will officially go with Haier Philippine Team to Thailand and participate in the event from August 12 to 14,2023. Aside from the badminton enthusiasts, the Haier Philippines Marketing team invited one influencer to join the event. This influencer will help amplify the event's reach in the Philippine audience. 

Haier Philippines Marketing's direction is to have a bigger tournament in the next quarter, inviting more enthusiasts to join the tournament. The objective is to promote sportsmanship among the players and to promote the brand within the players. With the existing campaign of #LevelUpWithHaier, the brand aims to encourage a work-life balance setup among its target market.
