Question: How to install the water filter.

Answer:

Ensure no parts missing before installing.

There are two connection parts for water filter installation, one part is connection between home water outlet and water filter, the other part is connection between water filter and water valve of refrigerator

Connection between home water outlet and water filter.

For this part connection,it has two different connection methods because of user’s different home water tube.

Please select suitable connection methods according to your home water tube.

Connect home water with three-way pipe and control valve(not use adaptor).

1, Put the small washer in three–way pipe.

2, Connect the control valve and three –way pipe,and put the big washer into three-way pipe.

3, Cut the water pipe into two sections:water pipe A and water pipe B according to the installation position of water filter.

Insert one side of water pipe A into control valve.

4, Insert a clip into clip slot.

5, Switch off home water source,and connect the three –way valve to home water.

Note:Avoid leakage,please seal the connector between home water tube and three-way valve with tape

Connect home water with adaptor(not use three-way pipe and control valve )

1, Switch off home water source,and connect the adaptor to home water

2, Cut the water pipe into two sections:water pipe A and water pipe B according to the installation position of water filter.

Insert one side of water pipe A into the adaptor

Connection between water filter and water valve of refrigerator.

1, Connect the other side of water pipe A to water filter,and then install a clip.

Note :Connect filter according to water flow arrows.

2, Switch on home water and clean the water filter.And then switch off.

3, Insert one side of water pipe B into the other side of water filter, and then install another clip.

4, Insert the water pipe B into the water valve of refrigerator.

Note: Only for model HRF-628IX7/HRF-28IS7,

Water pipe from refrigerator is installed by factory default, you could insert it into water filter directly(not use water pipe B).

If the water pipe is not long enough ,you could connect it with water pipe B by connector(in the Gift Bag)

Please pay attention to the information below.

1, If user wants to fix water filter on the wall.Please do as below:

1). Make out the position where water filter fixed and locate the brackets's fixing position.

2).Fix the brackets on the wall with screws.and insert water filter into brackets.

2, Length of water pipe which inserts into water filter should be more than 12mm.

3, Length of water pipe which inserts into adaptor should be more than 15mm.

4, When installing water filter, firstly connect inlet pipe, then clean water filter with home water.

5, Leakage detection: Check home water tube, three-way valve, water valve and connecting position to ensure no leakage.

If there has any leakage,please seal it with tape by yourself,and check again.If it still leak ,please close home water and call a service

Note:It is better to change the water filter every six months,details please refer to user manual

6, After installation, test the water level inside the ice box, water level in the 2/3 location is OK.

If the water level is higher or lower much ,please call a service to adjust the water inlet quantity.
