Haier M80 QD-Mini LED TV – Big Tech, Local Pride
Selangor, 23 July 2025 – Haier Malaysia today introduced its newest innovation in home entertainment — the Haier M80 QD-Mini LED TV Series — during a launch event held at the Four Points by Sheraton hotel. Available in 85", 75", and 65" models, the M80 Series is proudly assembled in Malaysia and designed for those who seek a high-quality, immersive experience at home — especially movie lovers and casual gamers.
The M80 Series features Quantum Dot Mini LED technology, which delivers stunning visual performance with richer colors, deeper blacks, and enhanced brightness. Paired with Dolby Vision and an industry-leading 94% DCI-P3 color gamut, viewers can expect striking detail and clarity, even in darker scenes. With MEMC motion technology and TÜV-certified low blue light features, the M80 TV ensures both smooth action sequences and visual comfort for extended viewing.
Beyond stunning visuals, the M80 Series is equipped with KEF speakers from the renowned UK audio brand and Dolby Atmos, combining precise tuning with cinematic surround sound to create an emotionally rich and immersive audio experience. Whether you’re watching a movie, gaming, or listening to music, every sound is delivered with depth and clarity.
Speaking at the launch event, Mr. Fan Jing, Managing Director of Haier Malaysia, shared the company’s strategic vision and growth momentum. “Haier Group has remained the world’s No.1 brand for major appliances for 16 consecutive years — a testament to our commitment to innovation and user-centered design,” he said. “Here in Malaysia, we are proud to see our TV category revenue grow by 12% in the first half of 2025, and the launch of this locally assembled M80 Series is another step forward in offering high-performance products tailored to our market.”

The M80 Series is also built with gamers in mind. It features a 120Hz Game Mode Optimization, shadow enhancement for darker scenes, screen size adjustment, and crosshair targeting. These features are designed to improve accuracy, performance, and overall enjoyment for amateur and casual gamers.
Running on the Google TV platform, the M80 Series gives users access to over 10,000 apps, including all the leading streaming services. It also comes with 32GB of internal storage, ensuring fast performance and support for more apps. With Haicast, users can easily cast content from their smartphones or computers directly to the TV screen, making everyday entertainment even more convenient.
