What is the difference in edge lit(E-LED) and back lit (D-LED)LED panel technology？
Answer:
Reason: Use guide
Solution: 1.D-LED : LED backlight module is placed behind the diffuser.
Benefit: Can support local-Dimming. It makes the Contrast very high.
Disadvantage: the thickness of panel will be very large; more LED parts more cost.
2.E-LED:LED backlight module is placed at the side of the panel.
Benefit: Ultra slim, low power, low cost.
Disadvantage: uniformity of brightness is not as good as DLED; cannot support Local-Dimming now
