Question: Self-cleaning function of Air Conditioner
Answer:

Air conditioner with "Self-Clean" mode
Press the "Self-Clean" button on the remote control, and the air conditioner will automatically collect water vapor from the air, quickly condense moisture on the evaporator surface, and wash away dust from the evaporator. After cleaning, it will dry the residual moisture to prevent bacterial growth due to dampness, ensuring clean air for you.
Usage Method:

1.      Manual Self-CleaningWhen the air conditioner is in cooling or heating mode (this function is unavailable in PMV mode, timer mode, or silent sleep mode), press the self-clean button on the remote control.
The panel will display "CL" or "56," indicating that the self-cleaning function is active.
The air conditioner will first clean the indoor heat exchanger, followed by the outdoor heat exchanger after a period of time.
The entire cycle lasts 20–30 minutes. Upon completion, the unit will emit two beeps and automatically exit, returning to its original state.

2.     Automatic Self-Cleaning The air conditioner starts counting from the last self-cleaning session. When the cumulative cooling operation reaches the designed value (approximately 300 hours), and the temperature difference between the set temperature and the ambient temperature is below the designed value, the unit will automatically enter the indoor self-cleaning function once (lasting about 9 minutes). After completion, it will return to the state before self-cleaning.
