Question: How to use the leakage detection button on the instant electric water heater? What function does it have?
Answer:

Leakage detection has two modes: automatic protection and manual detection. For safety, manual detection is recommended monthly:

Automatic Leakage Protection (triggered by the unit automatically)

When the unit detects electric leakage, the ELCB light will flash, or the digital display will show error code E1 with all other icons turned off.

At this point, cut off power immediately, stop using the unit, and contact after-sales service for maintenance.

Manual Leakage Detection (operated by the user once a month)

① Press the TEST button:

If the ELCB light flashes or error code E1 is displayed, the leakage protection function is in normal condition;

② Then press the RESET button:

When the ELCB light returns to steady on, it indicates the unit is ready for normal use.
