Can an instant electric water heater be connected to a bathtub? Why or why not?
Answer:
Open-type instant electric water heaters are not recommended for use with bathtubs; they are more suitable for daily showers.
The reasons are as follows:
1、The maximum settable water temperature of the unit is only 50℃, which does not reach the suitable temperature for bathing in a tub;
2、Bathtubs require a large amount of water. Continuous high-flow water usage will result in insufficient hot water supply and a rapid drop in water temperature, leading to a poor user experience.
