Question: Front Load Washing machine displays E4
Answer:

Question:

Front Load Washing machine displays E4

Solution Guideline:

The E4 meaning is Water inlet timeout. Please refer to following steps:

1.Check whether there is a water outage, low water pressure, or the water tap is not turned on. If there is a water outage or low water pressure at the user's home, wait until the water pressure returns to normal before use. If the water tap is not turned on, open it.

2.For washing machine using upper-drain type, check the drain hose height: the drain hose outlet should be higher than 80 cm, and the highest point should be lower than 100 cm.

3.For washing machine using upper-drain type, check whether the drain hose is inserted too deeply into the floor drain, causing the machine to siphon — water entering and draining simultaneously.

4. Check whether the water inlet hose is kinked, causing slow water inlet. If so, straighten the water inlet hose.

5.Unscrew the water inlet hose and check whether the water inlet valve is clogged. Clean the water inlet valve.

6.If the above steps do not resolve the issue, arrange for a service technician to visit and handle it.
