Question:
The detergent and fabric softener cannot enter the washing machine normally.
Solution Guideline:
For ordinary detergent/softener dispensers, this situation might be a clog in the drum washing machine dispenser (detergent box).
The following steps can be followed for handling:
1. Remove the dispenser box: Open the dispenser box to the maximum position, hold the blue (or white) PUSH latch inside the box, and gently pull it out to empty the remaining liquid inside.
2. Dispenser box cleaning: Remove the suction column cover of the softener compartment (pull it out upwards)
Put all the components into 40-50°C warm water, add a small amount of neutral detergent and let them soak for 10-15 minutes.
Use an old toothbrush to scrub each compartment one by one, then rinse them clean with water to ensure all holes are unobstructed.
3. Reinstallation and testing:After drying all the components, put them back (the suction column cover should be pressed tightly against the latch). Run a rinse cycle once (without putting in clothes), and observe whether the water in each compartment is flushed away normally and there is no overflow.
If the cleaning still fails to make it work properly, it might be fault in the water inlet valve or the pipe behind the dispenser. In that case, a service technician needs to come to the site for repair.
