365 Days Exchange Program (Zero Worries, Full Coverage)

Coverage and Eligibility

-       The Exchange Program is applicable only for the replacement of a defective product (for selected models only , see “Participating Models”) purchased from authorised dealers in Malaysia, which is covered under this program and complies with these Terms and Conditions.

 

-       The 1-to-1 exchange coverage is valid for a period of three hundred sixty-five (365) days from the date of purchase as stated in the valid sales invoice or receipt issued. Claims must be made within this coverage period.

 

-       Where the product malfunction or defect is determined by Haier’s authorised service personnel to have resulted from a manufacturing defect, the customer shall be entitled to a one-time replacement product of like kind, quality and value. Upon replacement of the defective product, any entitlement to further exchanges shall cease immediately and the coverage period shall not be reset or extended.

 

-       All products covered under this program are strictly limited for personal and domestic use only. Products used for commercial, industrial, rental, or non-household purposes are not eligible.

 

-       This Exchange Program is supplementary to and does not replace the manufacturer’s standard warranty. All products remain subject to the terms stated in the applicable warranty card.

 

-       This program shall not be construed as an insurance policy or a guarantee of product performance, but as a service arrangement providing replacement for eligible defects only.

Submission for Claim

-       In the event of a malfunction that may give rise to a claim, the product must be presented to Haier’s authorised service centre or dealer, or reported through Haier’s designated customer service channels, within the applicable coverage period.

 

-       Customers are required to provide the original proof of purchase (invoice/receipt) when submitting any claim. Failure to provide valid documentation may result in rejection of the claim.

 

-       Haier reserves the right to inspect, verify, and determine the cause of the defect prior to approving any exchange request.

 

-       If the product is found not to be defective or not covered under this program, the product shall be returned to the customer without replacement. Any costs incurred (including but not limited to transportation, inspection, or service fees, where applicable) may be borne by the customer.

 

Exclusions

This Exchange Program does not cover:

      I.         Normal wear and tear;

    II.         Cosmetic damages including but not limited to scratches, dents, discoloration, or non-functional defects;

   III.         Accessories, consumables, or non-essential components;

  IV.         Damage arising from misuse, negligence, improper installation, improper handling, or failure to follow manufacturer instructions;

    V.         Unauthorised modification, repair, or tampering with the product or its components;

  VI.         Damage caused by external factors including but not limited to power surges, fire, flood, corrosion, infestation, or environmental conditions;

 VII.         Loss or damage resulting from theft, burglary, or accidental damage;

VIII.         Damage arising from acts of God including but not limited to natural disasters, war, civil unrest, or similar events;

  IX.         Products with altered, defaced, or missing serial numbers;

    X.         Products used for commercial, industrial, rental, or multi-user purposes;

  XI.         Any defect not attributable to manufacturing faults as determined by Haier.

  

Limitations

-       Only one (1) exchange is permitted per product within the 365-day coverage period.

-       Haier reserves the right to replace the defective product with the same model or a model of equivalent or higher specification, subject to availability.

-       The replacement product must be accepted as final settlement of the claim. No cash alternatives, refunds, or further replacements shall be provided.

-       Haier shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of profits, or inconvenience arising from the use or inability to use the product.

-       This program is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.

 

Termination and General Conditions

-       This Exchange Program shall cease upon the earliest of the following:

      I.         Expiry of the 365-day coverage period;

    II.         Completion of a one-time product exchange;

   III.         Any unauthorised repair, modification, or tampering of the product;

  IV.         The product being relocated outside Malaysia.

 

-       Haier reserves the right to amend, vary, suspend, or discontinue this program or any part thereof at any time without prior notice.

-       This document constitutes the entire agreement governing this program and supersedes any prior representations, whether oral or written.

-       In the event of any inconsistency between the English version and any translated version, the English version shall prevail.

-       In the event of any dispute, Haier’s decision shall be final and binding.
