To Solve Problems for Users Effectively: Dry-Moist Separation Technology
In October 2014, the dry-moist separation technology that could “keep spinach fresh for 7 days” was successfully released. This technology set a new record in food preservation and has applied for national patent. Apart from high-humidity preservation of fruits and vegetables, dry food preservation technology has also been developed to store cordyceps sinensis or tea.
In June 2013, a salary man complained on mic-blog, “The preservation effects of fruits and vegetables of most refrigerators are far from satisfaction. How to solve this problem?”
In August 2013, Haier Refrigerator R&D Department released needs for technologies that could “keep spinach fresh for 7 days” on HOPE. Haier employed automatic label matching and big data technologies, but found no solution meeting the needs on HOPE. Then Haier selected three from the five resources of related technologies, and submitted them to Refrigerator R&D Department.
In September 2013, a negotiation & technical evaluation meeting was held concerning the above three resources and HOPE. Five experts and staffs from the Refrigerator R&D Department attended the meeting and determined partners through technical evaluation.
In November 2013, a cooperation agreement was reached between Haier Refrigerator R&D Department and High-Humidity Preservation Technology R&D resource.
In the first half of 2014, HOPE arranged an offline service team to assist the R&D of high-humidity preservation technology, and conducted mid-term R&D evaluation.
In October 2014, the dry-moist separation technology that could “keep spinach fresh for 7 days” was successfully released.
