Forbes Publishes a Signed Article of Haier CEO Zhang Ruimin: Winning Ways for C..
Coinciding with the 60th anniversary of the founding of P.R.C, Forbes planned a special topic and invited leading experts in key areas to voice their views on China's development in the next decade. By the invitation of Forbes, Haier CEO Zhang Ruimin wrote an article entitled Winning Ways for Chinese Brands in the International Market, which was published on the English website of Forbes on September 29th.
Mr. Zhang particularly stressed the companies' opportunities brought about by Internet in the article: "The environment for creating brand in the Internet age is very different from that of the past, and in the past, the development of a brand needs 10¨Cplus years or even decades; while the Internet has broken these rules. Compared with the international brands, Chinese enterprises indeed have no profound foundation, but if Chinese enterprises make good use of power of the Internet, they can also quickly grow into international brands.
