Tokyo TV WBS Reports Haier Group
Recently, WBS, a famous financial program of Tokyo TV, reported the globalization strategy of Haier Group.
The report started with white goods, and then explored what is really required for the global enterprises to obtain new market share with the reduced demand in the world. Haier was the first focus of the program, and the report held that Haier was the representative of successful enterprises "to conduct a thorough investigation into local needs and have the price advantage", and Haier had always led the way in product innovation in an effort to meet the demand of consumers and thus obtained continuous growth.
In recent days, many well-known Japanese media including Asahi Shimbun covered and reported the Haier's development strategies and achievements in Japanese market. According to the study report on brand awareness in Japan in September, Haier's brand awareness in Japan had reached 39%, up by 10% over the same period last year.
