IEC/SC59D Meeting in Brussels Haier Takes Charge of Implementing International Standards of Washing Machine Performance in Asia-Pacific Region and Drafting up New Standards ---Haier Participates in the Formulation of 9 International Standards and 3 of them Finished On behalf of China, Haier attended the recent IEC/SC59D meeting held in Brussels, Belgium. As an outcome of the meeting, Lu Peishi, chief engineer of Haier Washing Machine PL, became a member of the Steering Committee of IEC/60456 International Standards and took charge of implementing the international standards of washing machine performance in Asia-Pacific Region and initiating the drafting of new standards. According to informed resources, since its entry into IEC/SC59D in 2006, Haier has been part of the research of many programs related to international standards. At present, Haier is participating in the formulation of 9 international standards and 3 of them have been finished.
