The Olympic Flame Reached Bangkok Haier Staff in Thailand Showed Their Support On the afternoon of April 19, the Beijing Olympic Torch reached Bangkok, the 12th leg of the torch relay outside the mainland of China. The staff from the Thailand Haier Trade Co., Ltd and Thailand Haier factory spontaneously gathered together to support the Olympic torch relay. When the torch bearer passed the Democracy Monument in Bangkok, capital of Thailand, the Haier staff cheered along the roadsides with Chinese national flags, Olympic slogans and Haier logos in their hands. The 80-meter-long banner with "Haier people fully support the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games"became a beautiful scene along the route of torch relay. The Thailand government officials, consul from Chinese embassy in Thailand were all touched by the passion of Haier people and joined them to cheer for the torch relay. The local media reported this and improved the brand reputation of Haier in Thailand.
