Haier Computer Won the Bid for Rural Informatization Sichuan, PRC, Feb 28--Haier Computer won the bid for rural informatization project of China Telecom Corporate Limited Sichuan Branch and became the only supplier of the project. It is reported that, for the purpose of building new-typed rural area of socialism and speeding up rural informatization construction, Sichuan Province has launched Rural Informatization Project which plans to realize Internet access for families in 10,000 villages.
