Haier Group won solely Macedonia's international bidding of 100,000 computers On August 31th, in the capital city Skopje of Macedonia, Macedonia's Ministry of Education and Haier Group signed the purchasing contract of 100,000 computers. The minister of Macedonia's Ministry of Education---Sulejman Rushiti and the Chinese ambassador Dong Chunfeng in Macedonia,etc. were present at the signing ceremony. 20 global enterprises competed for the bid, and Haier computer won the bidding solely with its high quality. This is not only the largest order of Haier Group in Europe; it's also the largest IT project for Macedonia and the international computer bidding with the largest scale in Southern Europe. Altogether 20 global enterprises purchased the bidding document and 7 enterprises participated in the bidding, all European corporations except Haier. Haier Group won solely Macedonia's educational project, which sufficiently displayed Haier's independent and innovative power, and which from the other side proved "Chinese Manufacturing" enterprises and Chinese brands topped with Haier are recognized by the world. On September 1st, the PRC Ministry of Business Affairs website published news by Chinese Economic Business counsellor department in Macedonia "the poject won by Haier is an important step for Haier's globalization strategy; this means Haier not only has taken up Macedonia's whole market of educational computers, and built a brand image, it also means Haier has established advancing bridgehead in the unique European newly prevailing market---Balkan in the future. This bidding marks Haier has stepped further firmly on its road of carrying out "Going out".
