Localization production of Haier refrigerators and washing machines in Thailand Recently, the promotion conference of Haier new products in Thailand and annual dealer conference was held grandly in Bangkok. Haier Group promoted 4 large categories (26 kinds) of new products, including French opposite-opening refrigerators, American double drive and large volume washing machines, and high-end products, like Vitamin C double-door whole-wind colding refrigerators produced in local area. More than 200 dealers and channel customers participated in the conference from Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam and Philippine. During the conference, Haier Group announced formally that Haier factories in Thailand had realized their localization production for refrigerators and washing machines: 40% were sold in Thailand and 60% were exported into Southeast Asian countries. Thailand dealers signed a batch of washing machine orders on the spot. The Philippine dealer Mr. Lin said, factories built by Haier in Thailand had become local brands of Thailand and he was more confident for Haier brands. On that day, Thailand trade companies of Haier sold over 10,000 refrigerators and washing machines. Mainstream media like national TV stations of Thailand gave more emphasis on this report and upgraded greatly the reputation of Haier brands.
