The CEO Zhang Ruimin issued letter of appointment to the academician-Wang Shoujue To appoint the academician Wang Shoujue as the academic committee director of the national key lab for Haier digital home appliances and to promote the industrialization of Haier scientific and technical results. On August 14th, " the appointment ceremony for the academic committee director of the national key lab for Haier digital home appliances" was held in the central building of Haier Group. The following persons were present at the ceremony: Qingdao scientific and technical Bureau Director general Wang Anmin, the deputy Director general Xu Fajian, the CEO Zhang Ruimin and the President Yang Mianmian of Haier Group. The Director general Wang Anmin first had a speech " the national key lab of Haier Group digital home appliances realized the historical breakthrough of Qingdao City in the field of the national labs, which marked a new historical step of Qingdao scientific and technical innovation system!" The president Yang Mianmian declared that Haier would invite Wang Shoujue as the academic committee director of the national key lab for Haier digital home appliances; the CEO Zhang Ruimin issued letter of appointment to Wang Shoujue. The CEO Zhang Ruimin said " the key labs are very important for national home appliance field and they should be worthy of their names in two aspects: the first one is that they should stand for the national level; the second one is that the technical content of the Chinese noted brands would have the poetential to accomplish that. Mr Wang's holding of this position will not only make quality changes for Haier and China's home appliances, but will enable the Chinese noted brands with actual international competition!" Wang Shoujue also had a speech and accepted interview of reporters. When having interview with reporters, Wang Shoujue said, "the scientific and technical innovation of China depends on enterprises and on entrepreneurs" After the ceremony, the reproters surrounded Wang Shoujue for interview. His active thought and humourous chat left deep impressions on reporters. Why choosing Haier Wang said, the scientific innovation must be combined with the enterprise. The visit in Haier gave me deep impression: the road taken by Haier is just the independent and innovative road advocated by our country. The innovative road of Haier Group just represents the innovative manner and direction of Chinese enterprises. The innovative thought and culture of Haier Group is a great encouragement to us--I concentrate on Haier just because Haier is an innovative enterprise. And innovative enterprises will not be rigid and will not follow others, but have a force to take new road and new mode--enterprises with innovative spirit are the hope of the country. The scientific and technical innovation depends on the enterprises and on entrepreneurs Wang thought: excellent technical breakthrough depends on scientific breakthrough and excellent product breakthrough depends on excellent technical breakthrough. Therefore, especially during recent years, China's scientific and technical innovation depends on the enterprises and on the entrepreneurs.
