General Requirements for Network Appliance QB/T2836-2006 Primarily Formulated b.. National Development and Reform Commission recently announced a newly approved national standard for home appliance industry-QB/T2836-2006: General Requirements for Network Appliance which was primarily drafted by Haier Group. The standard will come into effect on August 1st, 2007 and will be published by China Light Industry Press. Six standards drafted by Haier Network Appliance Standardization Division such as Regulation of Home Media Center Devices, Regulation of Residential Gateway Devices and Technical Regulation of Home Digital Proprietary Rights Management have been submitted to Standardization Administration of China for examination and approval and are hopeful to become industry standards. This marks that Haier Group takes the lead in formulating standards for network appliances in China. Up to now, seven of Haier Group network appliance standards have been adopted as industry standards.
