Haier Computers Cooperating with Gome, Intel and Microsoft to Serve Customers The kick-off ceremony for "Joint Efforts of Four Giants - Haier, Gome, Intel and Microsoft to Launch 50,000 Haier Eye Care PCs" was held in Beijing on 9th, December. Haier Computer presented more than thirty new models; Gome put forth the marketing scheme; Intel provided premium cost-effective CPUs and Microsoft offered support for resources. It is said that this is the first time in the IT trade that Intel and Microsoft worked together to support Haier in its computer marketing. This at the meantime shows the wide influence of Haier Computer. The seventh CCW CIO& CEO Summit organized by Information Department of the State Council was held in Beijing recently. Haier computer was listed as one of 2006 China's Innovative IT Enterprises and Gao Yicheng, director of Computer Division, was given the title as "IT Person of Year 2006".
