Haier Staff Realize Their Value in Good Mood and Energetically While They Create Value to Clients!
September 27, Harvard Business Review senior editor Cohen interviewed CEO of our group Mr. Zhang Ruimin. Mr. Cohen said Harvard Business Review is to make a subject report about "How leaders go through trial", and they would interview 6 leaders from different fields, and they chose CEO Mr. Zhang Ruimin as their only interviewee in China.
When they talked about talent, Mr. Zhang remarked that talents with passion can bright your eyes, and make people want to recruit and keep them. If there is no passion, no difficult issue is to be seem as difficult one; while if there is passion, people can create conditions even if there is no condition.
When Mr. Zhang was asked "when can Haier be satisfied about its development", Mr. Zhang said, it is satisfactory when every individual is globalized just as it is said in the book The World Is Flat. Haier's vision is, "Haier staff can realize their own value in good mood and energetically while they create value to clients! Haier Group will create global brand and realize good return for shareholders and the society as the same time!" Cohen commented afterwards, "I thought you could have remarked from the scale point of view; your answer of staff realizing their own value was out of my expectation!"
