US Boston Consulting Group Issues Report of "New Global Challengers",.. Recently, Boston Consulting Group (BCG) from US released a report "New Global Challengers", which chose 100 enterprises from 12 Rapid Developing Economy (RDE), and Haier is among them. It is said that these 100 companies are potential to become transnational groups of 21 century, and are poised to "radically transform industries and markets around the world." It is known that 44 out of these 100 RDE enterprises are from China. Vice chairman of BCG Hal Sirkin said, western countries are also very interested in enterprises from emerging markets, which is already a topic on meeting agenda of American companies. US administrative staff are aware of new competitors, and know well they have to handle this issue in many aspects. This report indicated our Group's great potentiality in development, and at the same time we shall be full aware of the uneven road ahead.
