Shandong first place patent award presented to Haier for dual-drive A few days ago, the result of the 8th Shandong Patent Awards survey was revealed in Ji'nan, Shandong Province, Haier was honored with the First Place Award by the judges to recognize Haier's outstanding performance in application of advanced technology in home appliances and contributions to social economic development. Haier's dual-drive washing machine, recognized as the fourth washer in the world incorporating the features of pulsator, drum and agitator washing machines, was put into markets 2 years ago and witnessed 50% of domestic market share. Haier was presented with the Concours L¨¦pine International France and Haier technology incorporated in this machine has been introduced for modification of IEC Criteria.
