Haier donation for survivors of Pakistan earthquake On October 8, 2005, a major earthquake - measuring 7.6 on the Richter scale - hit the north area of Pakistan. Reportedly, during the process of relief goods transportation, drivers from different areas of Pakistan were not familiar with the local conditions. Salesmen and customer service agents of Haier (Pakistan) provided guides and vehicles to transportation teams and accelerated the process of relief goods transportation to destination areas.
